Anna Kashfi - "Palisade"
CD album - STOLEN 005
“Palisade”, the first album in three years from Manchester’s alt.country pioneers Anna Kashfi, is well worth the wait. With nine new tracks, plus a cover of a track by friend and sometime collaborator Matt Hill, the band consolidate their previous achievements while branching out, becoming more ambitious, and, at times, playful. Charming, clever and captivating.

Anna Kashfi - "Lakeside Call"
7" single - STOLEN 004
Anna Kashfi’s “Lakeside Call” – their first release for Stolenwine Records – introduced us to their compelling musical landscape where danger is never far away. While Sian Webley’s vocals are compelling and desperate, they are tempered by the creative guitar work and evocative strings, producing two wonderful tracks of Manchester-based Americana. Warmly received by Record Collector and BBC Online, “Lakeside Call” is the perfect stepping stone towards their second long-player.

The Hector Collectors - "Dollification EP"
7" single - STOLEN 003
Favourites of the late John Peel, founder Hectors Adam and Iain Smith drafted in Camera Obscura’s Gavin Dunbar and ex-Teenage Fanclub and Mogwai Brendan O’Hare on production for their most ambitious record to date. Steeped in pop culture, the Hector Collectors speed us through six tracks of nostalgia and wit, marrying perfect lo-fi pop tunes with a sprinkling of aspiration and romance. Compelling, endearing, and quite bizarre.

Thee Moths - "A Small Glass Ghost"
LP - STOLEN 002
For the first album to be released on the label, Stolenwine turned to Thee Moths, who rose to the challenge magnificently with their best work to date. Hailed by NME as “rich in detail and character” and “a triumph of ingenuity over budget”, “A Small Glass Ghost” is an experimental journey through shy folk, crunching guitars, samples and drum machines, and just about everything you can make a noise with and get down on tape.

Roger / The Electroluvs - "Hand in Motion / N.S.D."
7" split single - STOLEN 001
The very first Stolenwine release was also the beginning of our love affair with duos. Roger, an intriguing combination of wistful romance and good old fashioned filth, and the finest exponents of synth pop in Manchester, were partnered with Scotland's Electroluvs, more at home at the arcade or BMX track than the disco. The result was two fabulous tracks warmly received both in the UK and on mainland Europe.
